The foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains inspired the musician in Caroline. She often went to the Peaks of Otter to discover and explore a whole new world . While beginning piano study at the age of 5, she composed her first piano piece when she was 6. Caroline draws from her life experiences when she writes her songs and her colorful and emotional melodies seem a natural part of her original music. The visual quality of her more orchestrated music lends itself beautifully towards her film scores.
Caroline is an award winning film composer whose first film “Tumbling After” won the Peoples Choice Award at the Blue Ridge South West Virginia Film Festival. The second film “Dark Harvest” is scheduled for release worldwide in video stores in May 2004.
Caroline is also perusing her songwriting career in Nashville and is working with C&M Management in Nashville and just completed a seven song demo CD which is being pitched to the major labels and known country artists.
Caroline often performs solo as well as with the Caroline Moore Band throughout Central Virginia. |
